I Am The Vine - $8.00

“I Am The Vine” written by Bonnie Schneider is a collection of devotions including praise, prayers and promises. The entire Bible passage from John 15:5 reads, “I am the Vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” The devotions reveal what God can do with and through you.

It is formatted in large print so that those with poor eyesight can read these thought-provoking and Christ-centered meditations. On the right side of the page is the devotion written by Bonnie while on the left side appropriate Bible passages deal with the same subject.

The topics include Baptism, His Temple, Prayer, Trials, The Cross, The Resurrection, Communion, Forgiveness, For Weary Mothers, The Church, Sanctification, Comfort Ye, Unfailing Love and others. Each one of them was written keeping in mind the distinctions of Law and Gospel.

The front cover was designed specifically for this book by St. Louis artist, Dan Storm, with the original painting at Saint James Lutheran Church in University City, Missouri. Of Lambs and Sheep - $8.00

“Of Lambs and Sheep” is written by Dr. Gary Quick, an emergency physician engaged in the practice of emergency medicine for 34 years, the past 16 of which have taken place in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Widely published in the emergency medicine literature having authored over 100 articles, Dr. Quick began writing “Of Lambs and Sheep” 24 years ago in Temple, Texas as a Sunday School Superintendent. He and his wife Michele attend Immanuel Lutheran Church in Oklahoma City where they sing in the choir and where Dr. Quick has served as an elder for the past 9 years. “Of Lambs and Sheep” have been a monthly insert in the congregational newsletter since 1997. The cover art was done by Natalie, Gary and Michele’s daughter.
